Restaurants and barsGoal: Table booked

The AI host that answers the phone while your team runs the Friday rush.

At 7pm on a Saturday nobody has a free hand for the phone. Avoonta answers every call, takes the reservation, handles hours and parking questions, and flags big-party inquiries for your manager.

The problem

Why restaurants leads go cold.

The phone always rings when the host stand is three deep.

Peak service is when callers want a table and when your staff can least pick up. A host juggling walk-ins either lets the phone ring out or puts a guest on hold mid-seating. Both cost you covers.

Many calls are simple: are you open on Monday, is there parking, do you take walk-ins. The valuable ones, a 20-person birthday or an office lunch order, get lost in the same noise.

What Avoonta does for restaurants

Four jobs, done on every call.

Answers every call

Inbound

Your AI host picks up 24/7, says it's an AI assistant, and answers hours, location, parking, dress code and menu basics from the information you give it.

Takes reservations

Inbound

Party size, date, time and name go into the calendar you connect, with a confirmation text to the guest. If you use a reservation app, the request can be passed along by Zapier or webhooks.

Catches large parties

Live transfer

Rehearsal dinners, private rooms, catering orders: it collects the date, headcount and budget, then transfers live to your manager or books a call back.

Calls back event inquiries

Outbound

A private-dining form on your website triggers a call within seconds, with the guest's consent, so the person planning a party hears from you first.

Limits and compliance

Allergy questions go to your staff.

Your AI host never tells a guest that a dish is safe for an allergy or dietary need. It notes the allergy on the booking and passes the question to a staff member by live transfer or callback. It also never promises a table you haven't made available, and it starts every call by saying it's an AI assistant.

  • No allergy assurances
  • Only the tables you release
Restaurants FAQ

Straight answers.

Can it take takeout orders?

It can note what the caller wants and send it in the call summary to your team by webhook or Zapier for confirmation. It doesn't take payment on the call. Many restaurants send callers a link to their online ordering page instead.

Does it work with my reservation app?

There is no native connection. It books into Google, Outlook, HighLevel or Cal.com calendars, or passes the request to your reservation app through Zapier or webhooks.

What if a guest is running late or cancelling?

It takes the message and sends it to your team right away, and can update a booking in the calendar it manages.

Can it answer in Spanish?

Yes. It speaks 30+ languages and gives the AI disclosure in the agent's language.
