Towing and roadsideGoal: Tow dispatched

The AI dispatcher's assistant that answers every breakdown call while your trucks roll.

A stranded driver calls the first tow company that picks up. Avoonta answers every call, gets the location and the vehicle, asks whether it rolls, and hands the call to your dispatcher with the details already taken.

The problem

Why towing leads go cold.

A driver on the shoulder calls until somebody picks up.

Your dispatcher is on the radio with three drivers, a police rotation call just came in, and the phone rings again. Every unanswered ring is a stranded driver dialing the next company.

At night it's often one person covering both the truck and the phone. You can't answer while hooking up a car on the shoulder of a highway, and you shouldn't try.

What Avoonta does for towing

Four jobs, done on every call.

Answers every call, any hour

Inbound

Your AI receptionist picks up 24/7, says it's an AI assistant, and asks what the driver needs: a tow, a jump, a tire change, lockout help or a winch-out.

Gets the location right

Inbound

Highway and direction of travel, nearest exit or mile marker, cross streets or a business address, plus a callback number in case the line drops.

Asks what your driver needs to know

Inbound

Make, model and year, whether it rolls and steers, all-wheel drive, where it's going, and whether the driver has roadside coverage through an insurer or club.

Hands the call to dispatch

Live transfer

The call is transferred live to your dispatcher with the summary read first, or the details go straight to your dispatch screen by webhook if you prefer.

What answering every ring could mean.

Talk time per call, roughly
2 min
Minutes used
about 800 of 1,500
Plan
White label, $399/mo

If answering on the first ring keeps a handful of tows a month from going to the next company on the list, those calls could cover the plan.

Limits and compliance

Safety comes before the tow.

If a caller mentions a crash with injuries, fire, or being stopped in a live traffic lane, Your agent tells them to call 911 first and then transfers to your dispatcher. It doesn't promise arrival times you haven't set, and it doesn't say whether insurance or a motor club will pay. Every call opens with the AI disclosure.

  • Injury or fire: 911 first
  • No coverage promises
  • Your dispatcher sets arrival times
Towing FAQ

Straight answers.

Can it take police or motor club calls too?

It can answer any call to the number it's on. Many companies keep a separate line for rotation and club work and point the public number at Avoonta.

Will it quote a tow price?

Only if you give it a rate card to share, such as a hookup fee plus a per-mile range. Otherwise it hands pricing to your dispatcher.

What if the caller doesn't know where they are?

It asks for the nearest exit, mile marker, landmark or business sign, and keeps a callback number so your dispatcher can follow up.

Does it work for impound and private property calls?

Yes. Write a separate path for vehicle release questions, such as hours and what to bring, and it answers those from your own information.
